Once again, those proposing Wilder to accept 12-15m have no idea how to do business.

Wlad ducked Wilder. Sulaiman ranked Wlad #2 in the WBC rankings hoping to get the fight made but Wlad didn't go for it.

Povetkin failed a drug test so the WBC cancelled the fight. Not a duck. Povetkin ducked Wilder by drinking the titan formula .

If Wilder is a smart business then he will accept the short end of the purse for a first fight. Should he win he can write his own ticket. Remember Floyd vs Oscar de La Hoya.

Klitschko, an Olympic gold medalist, all-time great, who defended his heavyweight titles 23 times, knocked him out twice and beat him from post to post... in sparring.. with 16 ounce gloves.. enough said.
US court has just found in favor of WOB/Povetkin for loss of income of 4.3 million for Wilder pulling out of the fight. Further lawsuits for millions and defamation to come. The whole Povetkin/PED argument is dead in the water.
If you cant see that Wilder has either ducked or pulled out of every major fight in his career because at the top of the division hes an inferior boxer with only a punchers chance, including this one, then I have no words. Don't rubbish Klitschko for Wilder, its just extremely poor taste.

i like you MVC, i agree with alot your put on here. whether it be serious or just trolling other fans lol

but when you speak so highly of 'knowing' good business but then the last line you say 'If I were to make such a deal for the place where I work, I would be out of a job the next day'
You work for somebody? why aren't you making great business decisions for your own company if you know business so well?

either way, i dont think deontay deserves anymore than suggested but to make the fight they have to offer him more than that. I dont think either are ducking they just need the right deal.

    - "Wilder will not be rushed to fight Klitschko" Finkel Jan 2015 (After 33 fights?), followed by Molina, Duhuapas, Szpilka, Arreola, Washington before Klitschko retired... nuff said.

April 20th 2018 - WOB and Povetkin win countersuit for 4.3 million from New York court for Wilder pulling out of Moscow contract/fight. Defamation suit to follow.

"New York Federal District Court refused Wilder on all accounts, and awarded Mr. Ryabinskiy’s side USD 4.3 m — funds that were part of the interpleader case after the fight between Alexander Povetkin and Wilder was cancelled in May of 2016..... Povetkin has a counter-suit asking for $34.5 million for defamation because Wilder and his handlers pegged him as a doper in the media."

    Facts are facts... nuff said.

Thats not proof of duck.. Prove he turned down an offer from K2? Show a source that proves Wlad wanted to fight Wilder?

Thats a different lawsuit. You lied about the court siding with Povetkin over Wilder pulling out of the fight. I just proved that lawsuit was dismissed so have the decency to accept it or continue to lie. Which is it to be?

Um, Floyd took home 26 MILLION dollars + PPV upside for that fight while Oscar got 52 million.

This is 12 m/80 LMFAO, a flat fee with no upside.

    Are you trolling?

Ratios are a bit off there, buddy.

if the fight takes place in the uk at say 10.30 pm time or 5.30 new york and 2.30 LA ? time does this go out PPV in america ?

and if so given wilder at 1 million viewing figures on regular showtime ? v ortiz and joshua 300k v parker what kingd of audience does this bring in the usa ?

in the uk going by wlad fight it can be seen as a £30 million approx uk fight. with tv and gate money if it does very well.

in the usa i hear many times this is a 80 to 100 million pound fight

does it do 50 to 70 million in usa ppv tv stand alone money ?

No Floyd took home $26 Million inclusive of ppv upside actually. The point is that while he got less than Oscar this win made him become the A side and New ppv king! The fact is for the first fight Wilder won’t get a better offer otherwise he can keep fight for between $1-$2Million per fights. Not good business sense.

Genuine question: what did you say during the Golovkin Canelo negotiations? As many of you 'experts' were the same people telling Golovkin he had to take much, much worse offers than the deals he ended up getting.

Where is all this 100 Million Dollar fight crap coming from? Just because Al Haymon threatened to pull 50 big ones out his pocket and wave at Joshua does not make this a 100 million dollar fight. Just because this is a major unification that means alot to Boxing this is not a hundred million dollar fight. Just because Deontay Wilder is all over Twitter and Instagram and Grinder does not make this a 100 million dollar fight. There is nothing to suggest this is a 100 million dollar fight.

So in your opinion, its not a 100 million dollar fight then?
