he's lost twice now, to Castillo and to 50. I'd be tempted to make it 3 losses, Hatton would've beat him if he hadn't got knocked out and won a few more rounds.

It was a gift, yes. Not a huge gift though, and definitely not a robbery.

A huge gift, Castillo gave him the first 5 rounds by doing nothing and getting his head boxed off, if that isnt a gift I dont know what is

I've watched that fight a few times. I don't think that it was domination by castillo but I do think it was easy to tell which guy won which rounds and I just can't imagine how someone would score it for floyd.

Isn't this how every fighter wins a match...avoid a knockout and either try to score one yourself or at elast win the rounds?.... but it's definitely one thing to say it, and another to actually be able to do it.

Dude Kick Rocks with this **** , it was a close fight that he won ..
You act as though Castillo dominated the entire fight, which he did not ..

Castillo lost the first half of the fight came on in the second half, and even then some of those late round could have gone ether way ..

i have a copy of this fight and scored it 113-113 with a point deduction for each fighter. if not for those earlier rounds, castillo should have won this fight.

I would not care and be totally comfortable with that fight reading on Floyd's resume as a win. Not because he won by any means, only cuz it was long enough ago and Floyd did win second time. However, since Floyd uses the undefeated tag to enshroud himself in myth, and says he outclasses any fighter before him, than yeah, it is annoying knowing that he lost one fight.

Especially against someone the calibre of Castillo, not like it was a great like Chavez in there.

I had Castillo up a couple of rounds but it was far too close to be considered a robbery.

He won a disputed decision and then bossed a re-match. I don't really see what the big deal is, he proved his superiorty over his opponent, unquestionably. Many great champs have won a disputed one. I see the fight as very very close, I scored if for Castillo, I can absolutely see how some cards would have Floyd shading it.

If there were no way to score the fight for Floyd, how come 3 judges and many ringside observers scored the fight for Floyd? Many of their scorecards had Floyd winning by couple of rounds. Why can't people accept reality?
