I cant see 'feather fists' Malignaggi upsetting Hatton and then seeing as he'll be undisputed at 140, there will be some major fights out there for him. pac is the obvious choice but there are some more dlh and jmm for example. What do you think?

This is a 50-50 fight,if Malignaggi's hands hold up he can beat Hatton.

Malignaggi is going to be a very tough fight for Hatton, I think Hatton is only the very slight favourite in my mind, I would at all be surprised if Paulie got a UD or SD.
IF Hatton makes it through, then he should definetly 100% fight Pac - because I think that would be a winable fight, if not, then fight Oscar, who I think would win but it would certaily generate a lot of $$$.

IMO Paulie doesnt make this a hard fight for Hatton..Hatton makes this a hard fight for Hatton. Paulie is not particularly exceptional in anyway, I think he just lacks what it takes to go that extra level up.
What makes this interesting is that Hatton looked less then convincing against Lazcano. Maybe he already starting to fade, he himself said he would have a short prime...maybe not in those words but basically he said he wouldnt be around to much longer.

    I want to see Hatton-Pac.

I firmly believe De La Hoya is completely the wrong fight for Ricky. I don't think he can beat him. I think he would have more chance in a Mayweather rematch (not that he would win the rematch).

Pac and then retire for a year or so and when ready come back to fight Witter in a charity match and then hang his gloves up for good.

That is, of course, if the Mayweather fight ever comes to fruition, Mayweather Snr reckons there's a good chance but I just can't see it. Hatton - Mayweather at Wembly, 2009 would be ****ing great though!!

Paulie is not all that. Everybody remarks about his mythical skills. He never shows them really and the only reason people say he's so skillful is because he tells us he is. He's very quick but is he actually any good at all? I seriously think Hatton will blow him away. middle rounds stoppage

I think JMM would be a great fight, though very few are actually talking about it.

Classic mix of styles, brawler vs counter puncher.

Him against Pac would be good as well, but harder to make with Arum vs GBP.

It's gonna be Hatton vs DLH though at Wembley, late May/early June next year.

This fight will not even be close, Paulie will get mauled and lose a lopsided decision

I am 100% certain that Hatton will beat Paulie, the only way Paulie could win would be by a cut stoppage. I dont want to see Hatton vs DLH. DLH is too big and Hatton just doesn't perform at welter weight. If Hatton tried fighting DLH at welter he would lose. The best fight from a fans perspective would be against the Pac, he has a great style and would meet Hatton head on in the centre of the ring.

Hatton won't lose by cut stoppage - he has the world's leading cutman in his corner!

I don't think it is inconceivable that Hatton could beat DLH at welter - his fanboys use 147 as an excuse for losing to Mayweather and performing badly against Collazo, but.......

He was already down to 152 when he took Collazo (7 weeks out) and therefore had the odd beer and pizza because he only needed to drop 5lb - hence the gassing late.

Against Mayweather he was in excellent shape and performed well for 5 rounds before having the point taken, and losing his head. Had the point not been taken, it was a 117-111 UD against, IMO.

Hatton vs Pac would be a massacre, probably. His physical strength allows him to beat up genuine 140lb'ers. Pac hasn't proven himself against anything other than a handpicked 135lb'er and superfeathers who have moved up in weight as he has.
