Roy simple doesnt deserve the fight at this point. I love Roy but others have put there work in as of late to deserve a crack at slappy.

i dont think anyone wants to see Roy and Tarver fight again i would rather watch a rematch with Glen Johnson.
history will remember a Jones fight more than a Tarver one... Tarver will be almost forgotton in 20 years time, where as Roy will still be talked about. Also, on the same note, history will only remember that JC and RJJ were both at the ends of their careers, there's only a 3 year age gap, but JC's style and freakish stamina have allowed him to continue to box at the highest level for longer, similar in a way to Hopkins longevity (his being more through ring smarts and looking after his body). Jones style tends itself to age, it's reflex based and he's a pure freak in that sense, but he relies more on his body than his boxing brain.

Then Jones and Tarver should fight and winner fights Joe or Joe should just fight B-Hop again because B-Hop dominated Tarver, Johnson...Dawson lost (but stole) his last fight to Johnson and is no where....Tarver and Jones should fight and let Joe fight the winner....In the meantime Joe can defend vs Bute @168

Look at tarver's resume his wins at 175, he should be the man joe would be fighting Eric Harding Reggie Johnson Jones(twice) griffin glen johnson clinton woods sure he got beat by an old hopkins but his resume speaks and tells a lot and he was coming off a great championship win. He got a belt too..joe maybe the linear champ at 175 but he got no organization belt, time to get a title for him, roy offers nothing else but money
Jones doesn't need Traver again, Tarver needs to fight Beranrd and stop coming up with excuses to not to fight Dawson. Let jones fight Clazaghe whe nthe money is good and the hype is great. Tarver don't sell tickets PPV. jONES AND cALZAGHE WILL DO WELL OVER 500,000 AT MAX. Tarver is just not that fighter, sorry
If Joe was fighting for anything but money at this point he would get a fight with Pavlik lined up but he is looking for a big paycheck (which he should get) then fight Roy. A Tarver fight won't get Calzaghe paid as much as a Roy fight.
yeah, i would like to see rjj v tarver (or some other legit top 10 or so guy) first, but i guess calzaghe's got limited time.
