    The ref splitting them there was BS but good KO by Airich. Pala isn't that special it seems..

    Wow. Airsch won? And it was a rematch from a fight that Pala had won fairly handily.

    I had Airsch pegged as just more German cannon fodder, like Deter Roth, Steffen Kretchmen, or Sebastian Koeber.

    Eh, I don't think it's necessary to go that far. He has many good qualities. He just has some things he needs to reassess.

    He obviously doesn't have the proper resistance (or speed of upper body movement) to get away with that risky low-left defense he was trying to employ.

    Maybe because it's best to not judge people based on having seen one single performance.

    He had looked on other nights - and showed flashes here today - of being a talented enough B-level/2nd-tier heavyweight. I never claimed him to be the one to pull the sword from the stone and topple K2 or anything. I just said he was good. And he is. Try watching him more than once before jumping the gun. (especially where he was boxing Airich's ears off and was clearly the better fighter through 96% of this match, but just got caught with some dumb shots from a very game and persistent Kazakh and never gathered his wits enough to clear the cobwebs - even with help from that dodgy ref...)
