    My favourite fighter, Kirkland Laing, lacked focus and dedication. Enjoyed partying too much and didn't train properly. Unless he regarded his opponent to be at the same level as him he didn't bother to train properly and even got bored during fights. As a result he lost to fighters far inferior in terms of talent and never came close to fulfilling his potential. Kirkland could have been one of the greatest fighters to come from these shores mixing it with and beating the likes of Honeyghan, Breland, Starling etc. Real shame...

    incidentally without wanting to go off topic, after the super 6 i became a convert to the andre ward church, what is his real weakness? i cant really think of one thats exploitable

    The best example I can think of currently is Cleverly and a boxing trainer. In no other sport would a person as inept as Vince be working with a top athlete.

    It's the Mike Bassett scenario, just in a different sport.
