Do they teach you Brits how to read in Merry Ole England? Where in my thread did I say Hatton or Calzaghe had a glass jaw? I said I like Hatton and Froch...read the thread again you stupid ****, that is if you even read it to begin with.
Never said that either. I hate Mayweather for the same reason and there is no fighter now or probably ever that I criticized more than him. Does this thread have nationalistic bias? Of course it does, but so have many other threads I've read written by British fans where they talk about how much greater their fighters are. One example sticks out the most, where this one British fan wrote a thread talking about "How could a superior fighter like Clinton Woods lose to Antonio Tarver".
My friend, you compared Joe to Khan, a fighter that just got knocked out a few hours ago in the first round of the fight in 53 seconds. It's implied that you believe Joe is a fraud, and fragile like Khan. Just my humble opinion, that's how read into it.
You read it wrong. I said, I wonder what would have happened if Calzaghe hadn't been so carefully managed for the majority of his career. I compared David Haye to Khan in the chin department, but did not make the same comparison to Calzaghe in that respect. Nor, did I imply that Calzaghe was fragile, however I did mean to imply that I think Calzaghe would no longer be undefeated if he had taken more chances and sought out stiffer competition outside of Europe earlier in his career...namely throughout the majority of his, IMO, overrated reign as SMW champion. And I maintain to this day, that if he is trully one of the greatest of his generation, he would've done like Jones, DLH, Trinidad, Mosely and hate to say it Mayuweather did and win belts in multiple weight classes.
Don't try compare a 21 year old kid to a veteran of the game without a defeat on his record. If Joe Calzaghe was going to be "exposed", it would've happened a long time ago, e.g. against Chris Eubank.
You appear to have no idea how hypocritical this is. Have you ever read threads by American posters on this or any other boxing forum? If someone hasn't fought in America against an American then he hasn't fought, plus ... not one of these Eastern Euro heavies gets any respect from you guys despite dominating the division & all other European fighters are regarded by you instantly as hype jobs.
If you were to make a list of the top 25 fights of the modern era, I could guarantee you the vast majority would either a) include an American or b) take place on an American soil. That's not biased, that's a fact, and that's why so many Americans feel the way they do about what I put in bold.
