Sorry but the casual non-boxing fan would not appreciate films like "Raging Bull"...

If I could choose fights. I'd say

Gatti vs Ward 1 (just for the action, not skills)
FLoyd vs Gatti (for the action, skills, and beatdown)
Cotto vs Zab (for the drama, and beatdown)
Cotto vs Torres (for the back and forth action, then comeback victory)
Calzaghe vs Lacy (for the embarrassment)
Torrers vs Holt (for the OMFG reaction)
Taylor vs Pavlik 1 (for the back and forth action and brutal KO)
    Pac vs Marquez
or just invite them over this weekend for Cotto vs Marg.

You shouldnt show old fights just current ones.

Here are some fights you shouldnt show under any circumstances!

Hatton vs Kostya (actually, dont show any hatton fight)
    Calzaghe vs Hopkins
No winky fights (maybe except for Tito)
    FLoyd vs Baldomir

I think "Raging Bull" and "Cinderella man" were to excellent films that anyone who likes good movies could appreciate. I don't know if it would make them boxing fans. Honestly, I think HBO has done a fantastic job with the 24/7 series it uses to promote big fights....unfortunately the fights themselves need to be better if they want to convert non-followers into fans of the sport.
