After a decent response to my last poll, I've decided to do a 2009 LW poll.

Obviously this has smaller scope in terms of 'huge' fights but I've put on some fights I think would be very entertaining.

As always, feel free to post your own ideas.

My reasoning for not including Pacman is A) There's too much banking on the DLH fight. Who knows what he will do next. If he fights Hatton at 140, where will he go after that.

    B) EVERYONE would pick Pac-Marquez 3. I would've done. I wanted to make the poll a bit more open.

Casamayor also; I'm not even sure if he'll fight again.

For me the two best 'boxers' in the division, Juan Manuel Marquez and Joan Guzman, going head to head would be superb.

Yeah, but he's clearly exciting. I'd honestly give him as good a chance at beating any of these guys as I would Valero, who hasn't shown me anything exceptional, other than the constant flow of mediocre opponents he has supposedly 'destroyed'. He just clubs unintelligently and will be found up by someone who can stand up to him.

However, there is no doubt that he is an exciting fighter. Note that I didn't put Prescott against JMM or Juan Diaz, we don't even know if he can beat a Santa Cruz or David Diaz-level fighter.

But we do know he's exciting. Katsidis, whilst also exciting is vulnerable. But he never backs down. Which is why I thought this fight was worthy of inclusion.

To be honest, I'd like to have chucked Jon Thaxton into the mix, but I don't think there's anyone bar the British forum that would give him a chance against any of these guys.
