I know they are brotha's and all and that fight was impossible, but it would have been a great addition to the red hot 168lb division of a few years ago. why are these guys ducking each other......

Becuase Ward wouldn't travel outside his hometown.

Dan Goosen worked himself onto his death bed getting Ward hometown advantage throughout the Super Six, Dirrell thought it was only fair that he had the fight on neutral turf but Ward wouldn't budge

This would have been another Wilder (Ward) vs Scott (Dirrell) squash match.

There are levels in boxing and Dirrell is not on Wards level

Well considering Scott took one of the most obvious dives in living memory I'd say that yours is a pretty poor comparison to make. Unless you think Dirrell would go down the first time he's touched that is.

Yes, especially if Dirrell was mentally right, I feel he give up on himself too much and quits when it gets hard, but before that happens he's a tough fight for anyone.

Yeah that was def the best match to be made in the S6 along with Kessler Froch

Of course the two little girls ducked one another while the two warriors went to war twice

They should have fought each other, but they refused. Stylistically, Dirrell is very bad match up for Ward. Luckily, we might see it after all. Ward has moved to LHW and Dirrell will grow out the 168 division quite soon if he wants to fight name opponents and improve. Personally, I have always suspected, making weight and stay that weight, is challenging for Dirrell and that might affect his performanses.

Meh. We saw it writ small and from what I recall Bradley vs. Alexander wasn't all that great.

Awful comparison. Fight would almost certainly go the distance.

I'm still annoyed we didn't get to see that fight. What's the point of entering a tournament if you know dam well you won't fight someone in it?

If Ward is a "little girl", what does that make Froch and Kessler since Ward litterally anally penetrated both. You fan boys are hilarious.

I'm almost glad that they both avoided this fight because it would have been nigh-on unwatchable.

Try as I must to forget but seemingly every day a thread comes up that reminds me just how bad Andre Ward is for the sport of boxing.

I will never forgive Kovalev if he does not rid this guy from the sports upper echelons.
