Usyk commonly weighed in under 210. He's probably the most pertinent of them at this point.

Here is the video of Foreman - Norton.
    This content is protected

The announcer when explaining Foreman's weight gain, said that Foreman weighed in wearing pants and boots so he did not weigh the listed 224 or whatever...

I know how much people can cut weight (de-hydrate) and then gain weight back, I'm not interested in finding you any specific examples.

You were the guy who was doing Cheetah flips about the silly (fake) video that was supposedly 74 year old Foreman hitting the heavy bag? I guess a guy who could look at that video and think it was legit would have a difficult time understanding how an athlete could de-hydrate and then re-hydrate 15-25 pounds in 36 hours...

He's just an animal really. Imagine being able to dent the bag like that at any age let alone 70 ****ing 4. And he's stylin' it just like he did at his peak too.

    LOL!

This is a link to a list of fight night weights - https://basementgymboxing.blogspot.com/2014/01/fight-night-boxing-weights-list-of.html?m=1

There are no CWs, but there are fight night weights for 30 x LHWs, the nearest weight division to CW. None are more than 15lbs in excess of the 175lbs weight limit.

There are examples of boxers weighing 15-25lbs over the weight limit come fight night, but they are very much in the minority.

Apologies, I got that wrong, 1 out of 32 LHWs came in more than 15lbs over the weight limit.

As I said, some fighters come in 15-25lbs above the weight division in which they are competing, but they're a small minority.

There are plenty of examples from lower weight divisions of guys rehydrating up to 20 pounds. But there seems to be very little data regarding cruiserweight. Still given what we know from lower divisions a guy rehydrating to 220 would not be exceptional. Crawford rehydrated 17, 18 pounds at lightweight.

But the average rehydration at cruiserweight is probably more like 210 maybe less

His heart and chin were amazing against Fury, but seems like his heart is gone now imo. He's clearly not the same fighter he used to be. All he brought to the ring against Parker was his chin imo.

Ok so pants and boots = 7 pounds. Got it. What's the excuse for the weight vs Ali?

The fact is Foreman never ever weighed a flat 217 from the time he won the title in 1973 all the way thru to 1997.

Your bias is crystal clear. You've fixated on a weight 1/2 pound less than he ever weighed from the time he won the title until the end of his careers and tried to sell it. No agenda there!

Because you're talking smack. You were in so much of a hurry to rubbish Foreman you simply couldn't help yourself.

In his title fight vs Michael Hunter Usyk was 207 fight day and Hunter actually hadn't even reached 200. Against Mchunu he was 208 vs 206. I'll stick to the facts rather than fairytales, thanks.

And there you were trying to stomp on it form the get go. After Pugs posted the doubt in general i sat well back and gathered info. You've just insulted some of the best posters in here as many took it as legit.

Truth be told......what is your actual proof of it being debunked? I've seen a lot of doubts but do you have any cold hard evidence?

    LOL!

Lets talk videos! After the 33 second Greb video you had a 30 page hard on as you tried to take him down at every turn. You didn't even know the context of shadow boxing back then but you sure went at it. You even implied you'd favor a couple of young pro's that had 1 and 2 fights under their belt against him. Never mind we've got ample footage of guys Greb beat on. You used a 33 second clip to write off the entire era and those close to it.

Here's what you said about Greb and Tunney -

From what I've seen of them on video, if you could bring Greb and Tunney back to life and they were fighting next door, I wouldn't walk next door to watch. I don't care to watch two non jabbing, stiff legged boxers stand in front of each other and take turns lunging at each other. I'm afraid that if I watch that **** enough it will start to look like boxing.

You labelled Tunney and Carpentier novice level at best and said you can find that level of fighter "on the first night of a Rough N Rowdy Brawl, by the second night, that level of fighter has been eliminated and the competition is a little better."

Classic stuff. Just as good was when you tried to tell us Ali's post fight comments that Foreman had no power and didn't hit hard were serious and believable. Never mind his track record in countless other fights on film!

Might be time to log John Galt in for some support.

    LOL!

Let everyone know when you have an examples of actual cruiserweights re-hydrating at least 17 pounds.

I haven't been able to locate more than a few cruiserweight rehydration weights.

Riakpore and Okolie are the only top cruiserweights at present that I think enter the ring circa 220. Most are probably 205 to 215 or so.

"that i think" and "probably" aren't in play tho old mate. I've seen two Usyk examples that topped out at 207 and 208 and both his opponents were lighter, much lighter in one case.

I am open to any cold hard facts moving forward. Having said that the blanket statement they re-hydrate back to 217 and above is absurd. I've seen half a dozen or so examples and they are all miles under that.
