Was just going to reply, pressed quote, and you edited it already Apparently Arlovski is attending the press conference...
I wish Rambaa Somdet would sign with them. He is getting old, and he is very inactive. I suppose the many years of muay thai may have taken their toll.
It was supposed to happen in 3 when Melvin cut open his shin, Babalu did TUF Brazil instead though iirc
Word in the Philippines is that Manny Pacquiao might be a surprise guest at the press conferebnce. ONE FC hired boxing world champion Chris John to be a 'brand ambassador' in Indonesia earlier this year and Pacqiuao is good friends with ONE FC fighters Eric Kelly and Eduard Folayang, who he knows well from his time training in Baguio, and is negotiating with ONE FC to be involved in some sort of official capacity. Apparently ONE FC has spoken to Arlovski and Freddie Roach about the possibility of them training together with Pac Man at some point as Arlovski prepares for this fight. Interesting to see whether ONE FC pull it off, would be good publicity for them.
Im getting pumped for this card :admin:bbb:happy [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayx1jVR3A-k[/ame] Andrei Arlovski vs. Sao Paleilei Jens Pulver vs. Eric Kelly Shinya Aoki vs. TBA Phil Baroni vs. Rodrigo Ribeiro Bibiano Fernandes vs. Gustavo Falciroli Gregor Gracie vs. Ray Elbe Rolles Gracie vs. TBA Igor Gracie vs. TBA And Melvin v Babalu is rumoured too yikesyikes:yikes
Hope they can keep a float getting these names in hope they aren't trying to grow to fast. Great additions though for a organisation so new. Aoki, Fernandez, Arlovski, Pulver plus Melvin and Babalu basically a dream card with less japanese fighters already.
TBH I think Jens should hang um up, dont want to see him get Goodridge'd, but other than that this is a great little card, should encourage more guys to pick One FC as a viable option to the UFC And judging by their list of sponsors and the quality of the events I dont see them going under any time soon http://www.onefc.com/sponsors.html
Agree on Pulver he should of been gone a while ago. I'm sure he is getting a bit of money for the fight though which might be a bit of a waste of money. Like you said though with those sponsors they'll be here for a while yet. Looks a great card though looking forward to this.
