With all the De La Hoya and Cotto nonsense going on Id thought Id throw my 2 penny's worth in.

When and if Floyd sorts out his upcoming bout, he should forget Margarito or Williams. For a real test he should fight Witter. Why?

Well his style lends itself towards fighting Mayweather. His stance switching and variety of style would be the first time Floyd had fought anyone who remotely had a similar method.

Witter is one of those guys fighters avoided because without a Marque name, one can say he's a no one. Which is a very easy way of getting out of a sticky wicket.

Oh, The best 140 pound fighter is a English man, but he aint Hatton.

    Any logical thoughts?

If he does want to fight Cotto or Williams because they're not big enough in his eyes yet, then Witter definitely isn't.

Being from leftfield its not supposed to his next choice after the Next Oscar fight. Its meant to be the best fight out their. Other than Cotto and De La Hoya, this in my opinion would be the most intriging fight.

If and when those fights happen RG, i think it could well be a far better fight than Kermit the frog or Margarita pizza. Good point though.

Can Witter get by Hopkins? Needs to do that first.

Before Witter starts calling Maywether out he needs to fight a top grade fighter, beating Harris doesnt make you the man. I read after Hattons defeat to Mayweather that Witter said he would take Mayweather out in 6! Bold call!

Mayweather needs to fight Cotto, simple fact, and i dont think Witter's style would cause to much trouble, his punch output is pretty bad and when he does get hit he seems to get flustered to me.

Witter is a pretty good fighter but gives you openings and Mayweather is one of the best counter punchers around. Mayweather is just a better all around fighter.

You'd better check first who the judges are.

    Most likely.

    And he'd better.

Last time I saw young Hopkins fight, it must have been his birthday.
