Michael Costantino of Queens was born without a right hand. Not being flippant, but one would think that would erase his chance of being a pro boxer. But on the evening of Oct. 27, Costantino will debut as a professional fighter, in a four-rounder.

The 33-year-old took part in two N.Y. Golden Gloves, and will make the leap to the pro class at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, New York, on a card promoted and headlined by Sadam Ali.

The multifight event will be available on pay-per-view.

"This is a dream come true for me," said Costantino, who works a 9-to-5 as a property manager in Brooklyn and Queens. "I always loved boxing. I was an athlete growing up, playing all sports, and a friend got me into boxing when I was 16. I thought boxing was a beautiful but hard sport and I respected individuals in boxing. I tried boxing and enjoyed it. My goal is to show people that anything is possible."

Did the New York Commission look twice and make him jump through hoops to get a license? "I had no problem getting licensed," he said. "Fighting on pay-per-view is important because, the more people who see what I'm doing, the better. I'm just focusing on this fight but I definitely want to show people that anything you put your mind to is possible."

The Brooklyner Ali, the promoter/fighter, has a 15-0 record, with 9 KOs. He will scrap with 17-5 Jermaine White at the Aviator.

So the term "right hand" won't apply anymore during broadcast?

What if he scored a KO with it? "And Constantino knocks him out with a right...."

    But props to him.

    He's making history.
