I mean to imply that Maidana is far too slow and he'll take a beating.

    Clear enough? :p

Im convinced Khan can win an easy decision(if his chin holds up) based on Maidana's performance tonight.

Maidana probably won't win a round unless he lands a big shot and puts down Khan and Khan sees the round out.

I think Khan is favourite but all it takes is one shot for Maidana to end the fight. You don't seem to be taking that into account. It's not as clear cut as you think. Khan isn't Wladimir Klitschko. He does get hit from time to time unlike Wlad who pretty much goes entire fights completely unscathed.

Essentially the first five rounds for Khan is when he really needs to do the business. It's pretty much guaranteed he'll box the ears off him but he might get hurt from one power punch. If he goes the first few rounds without Maidana getting to him, the punishment Maidana will have taken by then will break his heart and he'll start to tire and slow. Khan can go 12 rounds without slowing too much so he will be in his comfort zone to see the fight out from there.

I agree that Maidana is a little overhyped, I don't think he is a particulary good technical boxer but he's got by because he can take a punch and also hit pretty hard too.

Someone who is a good technical boxer and can take a punch will dismantle him completely, however saying that I don't think Khan has what it takes to pull it off due to his punch resistance. He has the technical ability, but I honestly don't see him getting through the fight without going down. Perhaps he'll get back up and see out the 12 rounds and win the decision, who knows

Anyone who thinks it's going to be a Khan cake walk is crazy

I commend you for making a real prediction in the face of laughter.

Most of the fools on this board would have laughed if you said Froch wins a shutout v Abraham and look what happened.
