Morales. He beat Pacquiao, he beat Junior Jones, he won 1 1/2 of 3 imo.

This is gonna be a close poll! :D

The Baby Faced Assassin for me. His comebacks after the Jones and PacMan losses were amazing. And who the hell knows, maybe he can win a title at LW, but I'm rating the Hamed win (remember the odds and the way he pulled it off) slightly over Erik's win over PacMan (very close). And of course Barrera won the trilogy. But it's close.

Barrera had no business achieving what he did after losing twice to Jones, and likewise, pulling off a performance like the one in the Morales rubber match considering the loss to Pacquiao. It's why he's the best. He came back from hard, tough losses. He didn't allow the disappointment of the decision in the first Morales fight bother him, he just became a better fighter. Awesome fighter.

Barrera for me, he went 2-1 over Erik, and has the win over Hamed and the better skills.

    Barrera by a whisker.

They are so closely matched in every way but Barrera must therefore be considered greater as he did get the better of the trilogy.

its close either way but if Barrera goes on and beats Campbell for the 135 pound title then its clearly Barrera.

He just better hope Campbell holds on to the title so they can get it on after March 14th, because he doesn't beat anyone else at 135lb.

Barrera has proven me wrong before though.

    so will the Hamed win.

Barrera doesnt get enough credit for that. People act like any good fighter on any day would have 'exposed' Hamed, bollocks. It took Barrera to fight a great fight to beat him, and he deserves absolutely every credit for it.

hamed win really created a strong impact back then but really no historical significance unlike the morales-pacquiao 1

morales. el terrible. that was one bad ass dude. sure he lost against pac and went to toe with mab.

but morales was born to fight win or lose. mab last fight with pac, clearly he was in it to survive.

agree. mab is very good, but morales is tops for me. notwithstanding the loss to raheem and disputable loss to diaz.
