Prime means jack ****, if you've seen Bernard Hopkins career he isn't close to prime but he's still substainally better than 95% of the Light Heavyweight Division. Tszyu was Showtime. Mayweather was HBO. The only fight that Showtime and HBO collaborated on was Lewis-Holyfield which was the Largest fight in history prior to Mayweather-De La Hoya. Also Tszyu came back in late 2004 against Mitchell won the IBF then fought Ricky Hatton in a bigger money fight in Manchester 3 weeks before Mayweather-Gatti. So what time was Mayweather supposed to fight him, you know after overcoming the Showtime-HBO ****.

As for Hatton, he was ringside for that fight, had press credentials and everything, and he said nothing about Mayweather after that fight. Cotto was also ringside and sat there like a lump on a log because he knew Mayweather would beat the tar out of him.

As for Mitchell, you mean Sharmba, the guy Mayweather knocked out immediately after the Gatti fight?

So Mosley was not the best 147 pound fighter when they fought. And Earlier Mosley wanted nothing to do with Mayweather since their days at 130 and 135 respectively. He was jockeying for a third Dela Hoya fight:

As for Paul Williams sure, he was. He didn't come on until Mid-2007 when he beat Margarito, Mayweather had announced his retirement prior to that by 2 months and the only reason he fought Hatton was because Hatton finally found his voice after bombing out Castillo. But even if he was nobody wanted to fight him, the Margarito fight was a mandatory for Margarito's belt.

Fine he wasn't prime, name a better fighter at that weight class that didn't have Bob Arum signing his checks during that time period.

I was just answering your question as to who was better at the weights, and I did. It's not Floyd's fault sure that he missed out on the legacy matches because of negotiations and networks, but we can't give him make believe wins over them because he never made the fights happen.

Take the top three fights away from each fighter....then look at the resume's and you will find that they are'nt even close!

One fighter is really riding the coat tails of two fighters in particular!

Man you are crazy. First off, the only reason you give Pac credit for beating Moralas, is because Moralas whipped his ass before. The same goes for Marquez and he whipped Pac ass three times!

1. Morales - I dont give him credit for the Morales fight because for one, he was already damaged goods. Morales and Barrerra had been beating the **** out each other for years. Also, after the first fight when Morales kick Pac ass, Morales fought Zahir Raheem and got his ass kicked. Then freash off a lost he fought PAc.

3. Cotto - Man did I hear you compare Cotto to Diego CORRALES when Floyd fought him. Are you crazy? Cotto just came off one of the salvage beatings I ever seen a man take in Boxing. Then after that fight, Cotto fought Clottey and I think he lost. So then, Pac beats the **** out of a weight drained and mentally/physically beat fighter. Think about it, when Flloyd fought Corrales, it was two undefeated fighters matching up in their prime. Corrales was at the time 33-0 with 31KO's. If you remember that time, he was one of the most feared boxer in the lower weight classes. So for you to say Cotto when he fought Pac was better than Corrales when he fought Floyd means you are crazy.

4. I feel that it is always easier to say a fighter with loses has a better chance of making the case that they fought the harder opposition. Reason beings is that when they lose, it automatically raises both fighters credentials. EXAMPLE Take Ali, as great as he was, he always manage to lose a fight against fighters like Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks, and Larry Homes. Just image if he never lose to any of these fighters, would you say he fought the toughest opponents? No you would not aknowledge these fighters as great fighters because we would of threw them in the bucket of fighters who couldn't beat Ali.

Same thing with Mayweather, he beats everybody, so after the fight, they always say he aint fought nobody. I mean, lets be honest, Floyd is way better than EVERYBODY Manny has faced. Floyd would of beat the **** out of Morales, Bareerra, and who else?
