He'd slap up Beterbiev. He'd do similar to what Bivol did but better without tiring. Too fast and too much volume and stamina. Doesn't need to hurt him.

    Bivol would be tough.

Not really. He then proceeded to clown Roy with skills better than anyone ever did. Yes he was past it but he'd never had anyone school him that way. They were knocking him out.

That in no way means he was just under them in ability. He was way, way beneath them. It showed in their fights. He would've been destroyed by all sorts of B+/A- fighters throughout the years.

Exactly. At that point nobody had beaten him like a drum, only 1 punch k.o. Which of course joe never had the ability to do that. But he beat the train tracks off roy.

I actually think he could beat Bivol. Both of them, their attributes are based on speed activity and movement. Calzaghe is better in combination, more fleet footed and more aggressive on the back foot.

I don't think he beats Beterbiev. Calzaghe sometimes goes inside and gets rough, this is where he'd be undone by Beterbiev. Bivol stayed dedicated to the outside game, Calzaghe wouldn't.

Tarver beat RJJ convincingly in their 3rd fight by outpointing him.

As for Calzaghe years before he fought RJJ he said in his own words "I wouldn't fight RJJ now because beating him now wouldn't mean anything"

That's straight from the horses mouth.

RJJ never beat a single top 10 fighter after his KO loss to Tarver he was done as an elite fighter after that.

Why do you persist with this nonsense Mark?

By Joe’s own admission, Roy was shot at the end of 2008.

Off of the top of my head, in terms of height and reach, Roy was no bigger than the following opponents who he’d fought:

    Woods
    Toney
    Hopkins
    Hill
    Hall
    Gonzalez
    Tarver
    Harding
    Sosa
    Malinga
    G Johnson
    Telesco
    Byrd

    Better skills?

He simply threw lots of volume at a static version of Roy, who just had a high guard.

And he had the confidence to do that, knowing full well that Roy was a shot fighter, who was gun shy with diminished reflexes punch resistance.

He literally said before they fought, that Roy was shot and had been for years.

    These comments are hilarious.

    Joe wasn’t a skilled technician.

He was a volume puncher. And he could be very scrappy at times.

He also wouldn’t go near Roy when he was great, or go to America or up to LHW, even when he was at a dead end in his weak SMW division.

You’ve got to be still high from the weekend in order to believe that he’d have beaten Bivol and Beterbiev with ease.

The guy had to be talked into fighting Jeff Lacy, and he barely beat Reid and Hopkins.

    Come back to reality.

Glen Johnson had bullied him for 9 rounds, before knocking him out.

It’s hilarious how you big up this guy.

Those dimensions aren’t big for either a SMW or a LHW, and he was weighing in the low 180’s on fight night for the majority of his LHW fights.
