He said that people in USA wanted to see Adamek fought Glen Johnson, HBO wants this fight too but they didn't have money for this fight. Now, Adamek will fight against Bobby Gunn in 11th July in Prudential Center, then maybe Hopkins. Also, Adamek maybe won't must fight against Cunningham again. Adamek's fight against Bobby Gunn will present in Comcast, american TV. Yeah - I read this some time last week. Would be interesting and would make for a night fight on the upper East Coast. I would actually go to this fight. If it does get made - it will be some time early next year.
Hopkins said on espn that he offered Adamek 1.2 million to fight him and Adamek turned it down. I think this is a lie and he was only offered 500k.
but still amadek turned it down and fought som1 else for 200k. that was a dumb move i think, unless he believes hopkins can beat him
Even if he would have accepted the fight with Hopkins it couldnt take place - because of Mayweather fight. HBO dont have the money and time for Adamek - Hopkins in July. So there is a possibility that this fight is going to happen in November. Now everything depends on TV - Hopkins said 1.2M and 'Team Adamek' accepted it.
