    One more time...

How will PAC survive his fight or possiblly win over ODLH?!

Others give him no chance at all while others give him a very slight chance..

IMO, if PAC lasts 6 rounds there will be a higher chance of PAC winning but of course PAC surviving 12 rounds isn't any guarantee.

So,shat does PAC have to do?!...Sorry, running isn't the PAC stlye.
    Anything else?!

Easy, instead of using first and second gear he would need to use the reverse gear. First and second gear have like 400-500 thousand miles on it but the reverse gear have under 100 miles. It's still in the break in period.

he will beat him with speed and pressure...I am still baffled at how ODH took this fihgt with NOTHING TO GAIN and his whole legacy to lose

I don't think Pacquiao wins, but I'll play Devil's Advocate and just argue the case.

-DLH will be drained from making a weight he hasn't made since 2001. He's not going to want to pay penalty money for being over 147, so he'll get down to 147, with negative effects on his body.
-Pacquiao will not run, but use effective in-and-out movement. He hasn't been reckless like he was before anyway. He has been more controlled in his aggression lately.
-You'd think that facing a bigger opponent means Pacquiao can't handle the power, but that isn't always the case. Trinidad had never fought above 160 before, was always suspectible to a straight right hand (a Roy speciality), an d was dropped more times than Pac's ever been. Tito was competitive for half the fight and never stopped. And Pacquiao isn't a guy who hasn't fought for 3 years, it's his 3rd bout of the year.
-The key punches against southpaws are generally left hooks and straight right hands. Left jabs are not easy to land. That means Pac can more or less just focus on the left hands. DLH has always been inconsistent with the right hand. Pacquiao is not as easy to hit as the larger, slower Fernando Vargas.

DLH has about $30 million or so to gain.

Sure, if he loses, people will criticize him, but it still doesn't erase his legacy.

Nothing late in their careers can erase the achievements of older fighters like DLH, RJJ, Ali, Robinson, Duran, etc...unless we somehow find out they did something really really bad like remove their padding from the gloves or drug opponents or something extreme.

    Correct.

Fighters losing at the end of their career doesn't mean much.

Pac will survive because he is the best fighter in the world. His defense has improved enormously, and he will exploit Oscar's fading stamina and workrate with his own relentless workrate. I think his power will translate quite well at 147 and he'll work the body hard, knowing that Oscar doesn't take it too well. His speed will trouble Oscar like that of Floyd, Pernell and Mosley did. It will be very tough for Pac, but he has the tools to win the fight. Nonetheless, IF Oscar uses his jab for once, and hasn't slipped too much, I think he should win the fight because of his style and size.

    Not true IMO.

It sounds like Pac will look verrrrry good for this fight. If DLH beats a Manny Pacquiao who looks like a natural welterweight, it will add to his legacy.

And btw, Oscar, as well as 95% of other fighters (hate to break this to you), fight for the $$$$...Not for legacy or their love of the game.

He'll survive the same way that an old Duran beat a MUCH bigger, stronger, younger Barkley when he fought at MW - smarts and skill. Difference is that Pac is the younger and faster one in this fight. I think Pac is gonna win this thing and surprise the **** out of an overconfident DLH.

A drained DLH is incapable of matching Pac's punch output and resorts to throwing single big shots and never catches him. DLH maybe even completely gasses and gets beat up. Pac on points is very feasible. Another bull**** win for the greatest boxing bullshitter in modern history, PAC-MAN!!

Agreed. Nothing but money. I was very disappointed in ODLH for making this fight, at best he's picking on a smaller fighter to please his teenage girl 'fans' who know nothing about boxing. At worst he's cashing out and trying to find a soft touch with a big name. I almost hope he gets his ass kicked for it.

-Pac is #1 P4P fighter by most fans/media

-Oscar is ONLY a 2-1 favorite for this fight
