One of my favorite Marciano moments

    Never a boring night when Marciano's in there. This is also my favorite Marciano moment. Like Moore said, Marciano was a, "wam bam don't give a d***".

    Moore weighed more than Marciano at the weigh in, but compare the size of their rib cages.

    This is why I think that it is silly, to regard anybody who can match Marciano on the scales, as his physical equal!

    He missed way more than 9 punches there. Are you counting the ones that Moore deflected with his arms and shoulders?

    Agreed. Moore was doing some excellent defensive work there. If it hadn't been for that last punch, the sequence would have looked like an Archie Moore defensive highlight clip.

    Not only that but he also lands a bunch of hard counters at the very beginning.

    Moore does everything right, and it just didn't matter.

    It's a case of one guy having to be almost perfect vs a hurricane. I like Archie's expression , it looks like he is thinking, "what does a guy have to do against this guy . . "
