OK Pazienza was over matched but that final knockdown for the stoppage was incredible.

Those uppercuts were brutal and so damn fast. Incredible talent and coordination.

Cannot think of many other 168 pounders with the skills to handle the former lightweight. Be a real short list, wouldn't it? Maybe 1 or possibly 2 fighters in the history of the sport with the ability to beat a 168 pound version of Vinny Pazienza?

The bout should have never been sanctioned. Pazienza was not that good of a lightweight even.

^^^ Agreed...There's about 4 or 5 guys who you could replace on RJJ's 168 pound 2 year run resume .. If he beats them and I think he probably does, then we are talking about RJJ being a top 15 p4p guy of all time … what a shame

This was one of the very few times where Jones actually used the jab consistently in a fight. And it would also be the first time in compubox history where a fighter (Pazienza) landed NOTHING on the opponent (Jones) in a single round.

Huge mismatch but still a great showing from Jones Jr. The ending KO was the icing on the cake.

The jab he showed was brilliant, the KO was amazing however

I'm only bored of fights where there's loads of clinching but I was very bored watching this.

"I watched the tape of his fight with Roberto Duran, and I saw a lot of openings that Duran's reflexes wouldn't let him capatalize on...so you know what that means ...KALAK= Roy Jones ( during the prefight)
