Didn't get in the way, very respectful to both fighters, gave both fighters every opportunity to turn it around before calling it at the right time. Hope he gets the props he deserves.

Thought he was a little long with the counts.

100% agree. And, he was relatively light on championship experience.

If I heard the Sky commentator correctly it was this ref's first world championship fight. He definitely rose to the occasion.

He could easily have stopped AJ in the 6th robbing us of that great turn around. More refs ahould take note imo as we get robbed of great fights in this era

Certainly a super job. He'll get plenty more big gigs after this.

I sort of chuckled when AJ swung at the end of a break and almost took the ref out yet he carried on ( as he should) and never made an issue out of this folks. Some refs would have stopped the action, gave a warning and then gave themselves 5 minutes to recoup

Apart from the knockdowns. He gave Wlad a 15 second count both times.

gave wlad way way too much time to recover in the 11th. looked like he was even trying to set him on the right course at one point.

Thought he was doing a great job until the odd inability to simply do his counting job towards the end.

Ref was very biased toward Wlad. Long counts not one caution for holding either
To be honest when I heard the officials announced I thought Hearn was crazy not one from the UK. I think he planned on a Joshua KO luckily he obliged lol. The way the cards were I think Joshua would have been robbed of victory if not
Kudo's to both fighters they Gave their all turned out a great fight. Wlad can hold his head up high & I think Joshua proved himself too. I thought it was over when Wlad dropped him but he showed he has heart courage & cojones as well as talent tp fight back the way he did. Great Fight Guys THANKYOU!!!!!!!!
