Agreed, you have lads like Rendal Monroe who is otherwise a normal member of his community. At the top of his game but still works in the area, takes his boy to his football games and chats to the locals. Only a very few boxers remove themselves from the community and fans, that is fantastic compared to football where thousands of them wouldn't give anyone the time of day.
obviously not every boxer is a man of the people though...its not in every human's nature to be friendly and approachable but yeah, much better than footballers who reckon the world revolves around them...
