    B-Hop was making a statment

    put yourself in his shoes
imagine being written off by nearly everyone, including friends like freddie roach. Being pissed off by SD against calzaghe, and Taylor. Aswell as throughout the fight keeping his cool, and then finally you hear the Final bell

    you know its over

it was a natural reaction, B-Hop didnt do it to disrespect, it was a statement.

    Put yourself in Pavlik's shoes

Pavlik just gets his ass whooppped and then B-Hop shows more anger towards him, Pavlik was like WTF is wrong with this brear

This is true what you say, I felt sorry for Pav in that tense, weird moment. But realised as well that it was just Hopkins's way of celebrating and releasing a lot of pent up tension. The way he was looking out at (the press I think) just afterward, he looked like he was struggling to contain his emotions.

That was one of the more intense final bells I can remember seeing.

When Hopkins walked to the side of the ring, and just stood there with his face frozen into his executioner's mask . . . I could not tell if he was going to cry from joy, or if he was worried he was about to be shafted in another BS decision, or if he was still worked up from the excitement at the end of the fight . . .

But I think his speech to Pavlik and Loew was genuine, if for no better reason than to help Pavlik build a legacy on which Hopkins' legacy could rest.
