The difference is clear. In Lesnar-Couture, Couture was the defending champion. Lesnar made weight. Therefore there is no contoversy.

 

This is absurd, he walks well above 210 now; he looked like skeletor at 175 when he last fought there.

The walking weight of Pac and Mayweather is pretty similar.

Both Pac and Floyd fight bigger fighters at their weight class because they cut no weight. Why can't GSP do the same? He walks around at 200 pounds. Anderson offered to meet at a catch weight too.

Sonnen will beat Silva next January, say goodbye to the most important MMA match of all time. There has never been a case of the two P4P fighters, on long dominating win streaks having the opportunity to fight each other...and they are promoted by the same company. Shameful.

That fight is not happening because:

1. Dana wants to protect the GSP cash-cow
2. GSP is afraid
3. the fans will always believe what Dana tells them too, hence no outrage over Fedor vs Couture/Brock not happening either.

But in reality he was just teaching womens boxercise classes in three gyms (no joke).

One other funny thing is...the Marquez mayweather fight actually sold pretty well.....so i guess floyd doesnt need oscar. (well, maybe as long as its a mexican) but of course, the mosely fight did well to. This is so fake though its sad...he could have gotten some guys in the room to make noise, make it sound like a rea press conference....whatever.

 

Top boxers fights all top fighters from foreign countries and from different promotions. Anderson Silva only fights fighters within one promotion and has stopped fighting Japanese fighters (for a very good reason) and only defends one belt.


MMA the way uncle Fester runs it isnt comparable to boxing.
