When Cus was still training Tyson, Tyson had excellent speed and balance, after Cus died, Cus left Kevin Rooney to train him. Jimmy Jacobs also took care of him as well as Bill Cayton..............but Jimmy Jacobs died and Tyson felt lost...............then along came Don King, they got rid of Kevin Rooney and Tyson went down hill.................it's a shame, I loved to watch Tyson fight...............

A 6 rds bully who crumbled against good champions.
    Used and abused the sport.
Seeked to inflict to others the maltraitance/raepes he experienced himself as a child.

Evander Holyfield: Me and Mike were the two best fighters of our era, i knew i had to beat him to be considered number one.

Lennox Lewis: I had to beat Mike Tyson to cement my legacy.

Vitali Klitscko: David Haye, if you want to win this wbc belt and hold the same belt that was held by great fighters like Ali, Lewis and Tyson, then come and fight me.

Atlas had to put a gun to his head to protect his 13 years old niece.

Cayton bailed him more than once after incidents with married women.

Mike thanked Cayton by turning his back on him, hiring instead King.

After losing to Douglas, he declined facing new champion Holyfield, citing an injury.

    He tried breaking Botha arm.

In 1996, he paid 4 million dollars, then relinquished the WBC belt rather than facing mandatory Lewis, and met instead Holyfield, wildly seen as damaged goods from his Bowe stoppage.

He tried to get out of the first fight by lunging his head forward, when he started tiring.

He bit Evander's ear in the rematch

In short, what's not to like about the guy ?

A 15 year old kid flirting with a 13 year old girl and Atlas puts a gun to the 15 year olds head, yeah real bad ass indeed.

Which married women? Ive never come across that. Tyson slept around with lots of women. Not his problem if they were married

That happens in boxing all the time.

What are you talking about? Tyson begged Douglas for a rematch which Douglas refused, Douglas went on and got knocked out by Holyfield. It was HOLYFIELD who took his time in giving Tyson his title shot. Instead of facing Ruddock or Tyson, the number 1 and number 2 at the time, he fought an Old Foreman instead, a guy who up until then, had not beaten anyone of note. He then fought crackhead Bert Cooper who nearly knocked Holyfield out. Meanwhile Tyson was facing Alex Stewart (who beat up Moorer, Foreman and Holyfield) and Razor Ruddock twice. After the Ruddock fights he injured his ribs. Doesnt sound like excuses to me.

It was a dirty fight, both men are guilty.

Nobody cared about Tyson/Lewis in 96, everyone wanted to see Tyson vs Holyfield, theres a reason why that fight was called 'Finally'. It was the Paciaquo/Mayweather of its time. Tyson fought Holyfield for more money, he got over $35m for facing Holyfield, he would never have got anywhere near that amount for Lennox Lewis in 96

Accusing Tyson of ducking Lewis in 96, is like accusing Mayweather of ducking Khan, to fight Pacqiauo (for more money).

Lewis, was like Khan during 96, hed suffered a humiliating kO loss to Mcall (Tysons former sparring partner) and then beat Tyson wannabe (Mercer) in a controversial decision. Similar to how Khan was KOd by Garcia but since then hes had one good win over Alexander and now all of a sudden hes a big name. It was only really after the Tyson/Holyfield and Bowe/Golota fights that Lewis stepped to the forefront as the number one heavyweight.

What a load of ****. How was he still trading blows with Holyfield in round 11 then?

Have you even seen the fight?

Basically, you dont know what your talking about. You've just copied and pasted a whole load of youtube comments and made some stuff up and i doubt you've watched any of the fights at all.

One of Cus Demato's last great pupils the peek a boo style of fighting was incredible when executed correctly and Mike was that fighter ..

The man was like a wrecking ball at only 5'10 the way he stem rolled over Frank Bruno was a site to behold ..Boxing could only be so fortunate if we get another one like him but sadly all the great trainers are gone !

Let's see YOUR 13 years old niece in the same situation: i'm sure you wouldn't have any problem with that, right ? :think

So, you started watching Tyson in 1996 ?

Ingratitude is when you turn your back on those who helped you when you were a nobody. Especially if you replace them with a former convict-murderer like King.

Douglas was right to fight Holyfield, since Tyson and King attempted to suspend the result of his victory.
No one should do business with crooks ( except Mickey, of course)

Name another boxing match where a fighter intentionally tried to break his oponnent' arm.

Holyfield was seen as shot to pieces. That's why brave Mickey accepted facing him, instead of dangerous mandatory Lewis.

Rd 6, Mickey tastes the canvas. So,. 16 seconds before the end of rd 7, he propulses with his dome into Holy's face, hoping for a technical decision, and a way out of a knockout loss.
    Fat chance, Mickey.

Don't worry, you can always go back there. You will like it. :good

Don Turner, Holy's trainer, warned his fighter to expect a crazy act by Tyson in order to get out of the second fight, once things start to go sour for him.

    True story.

Holyfield also seems to have heart problems everytime he loses and then everytime he wins, hes.magically cured again.

And i see your making stuff up again, Don Turner never said that. Holyfield said he went to a witch doctor who told him Tyson would try and disfigure his face in some way.

Turner merely said he couldn't see Tyson winning because he still had the same corner and wouldn't offer anything new.
