A couple of shots to Macca's chin could mean death.

The ref probably took into account his brutal stoppage losses in the past, and decided to stop it before he ended up flat on the canvas again. It's not like Macca is known for coming back from being hurt, is it?

Was that the same guy from the Billy Joe Saunders-Fletcher fight?

If so he needs to maybe to be relegated to jnr amateur fights...I mean really, that was awful..the Fletcher stoppage was a little more understandable but weak aswell.

That was an absolutely ****ing pathetic stoppage.
Most of the shots were taken on the gloves and he landed a decent combo just before that.
Did anyone notice the way the ref froze whilst stopping it? as if he realized he shouldn't have stopped it?

    ****ing disgraceful.

What the hell was the ref thinking? At no point was Enzo even close to being out of it... I swear British boxing will become a non contact sport soon, some if not most of the "TKOs" are a joke.

as soon as the ref jumped in you could see he knew he'd ****ed up

Enzo's got no chin so he panicked

A ref should not go into the ring with pre conceived ideas about how much he should protect a fighter, that is not fair on the fighter. Enzo was fine his eyes were fine his legs strong his guard up. The ref has ****ed up enough already and should be banned. IJL is more bothered about his own best interests based on his reputation.

Yes it was him, who also let Briggs get put in hospital and since then he jumps in early as he dont want to get criticised for letting fighters get hurt but now its gone the other end of the spectrum to premature stoppages. I was also pissed off with the fletcher fight no doubt BJS was winning put Fletcher was throwing punches back, IJL did the same with McCloskey even Corley said it was wrong.
