When were some times when a fighter managed to knock out an iron-chinned fighter with one punch? I think the best example is Sugar Ray Robinson's knockout of Gene Fullmer. That was the best left hook I've ever seen. What really makes the knockout special, though, is the fact that Robinson was moving BACKWARDS while he was throwing the punch, meaning the punch didn't have as much force as it would have if he had planted his feet, but it still had enough force to knock Fullmer out.
One punch is always a bit of a greet, although yeah Robinson-Fullmer is a fine example. Bob Foster knocked iron-chinned Dick Tiger the **** out, unconscious. In fact, Foster cracked some incredible chins. This KO of the iron-chinned Chris Finnegan is awesome, but it's hardly one, punch, lot of hard rounds. Maybe the hardest puncher ever at his weight, up there p4p, a really fine boxer, knocked guys the **** out....yet that Finnegan fight is the most underwatched boxing on YT, maybe. People want to watch him get killed by Ali and Frazier. Many of his most devastating KOs aren't available but he was a sick puncher.
This one should really count too because Zuniga was writhing around on that canvas in utter agony for over 10 seconds and he didn't make it to his feet until about 15 seconds This content is protected
Beat me to it. Shocking KO, made all the better by the terrible commentary. They made it seem like it was a fluke shot (along with getting the arm wrong) when Sergio was already setting it up in round 1.
Pacman vs JMM. I don't think anybody envisaged a brutal knock-out like that because in the previous fights JMM threw everything at Pacman already, until that bomb landed and saved his arse from a beating.
Sugar ''Money'' Mac-carinelli's one punch KO of iron-jawed Argentine Marcelo Dominguez who was only stopped one other time in 57 fights and that was on a cut. Time-stamped This content is protected
