:huh Hearns pounded the living **** out of Duran and landed multiple flush power shots. Wasnt he even dropped once and got back up for more?


I mean ok it was one punch that put him out cold, but it wasnt like he was fine and dandy before that punch.


One punch KO is more like Tarver-Roy II where it is just one shot out of no where and they were otherwise completely fine before it.

 

Also Foreman -Moorer wasnt one. Ive heard it described as such but Foreman stunned him briefly right before the final KO shot.

Good call...They don't come any sweeter than that left hook by The Body Snatcher. It shocked the boxing world that year.

 

Marlon Starling versus Tomas Molinares. Both traded at the bell with big right hands, and Molinares knocked Starling out to win the WBA ww title in the 5th round. Merchant interviewed Starling after the fight, and Starling said he had not been knocked down or knocked out, and Merchant went into this tirade saying, "Marlon Starling does not know that he has just been knocked out". It was the funniest interview I ever saw by Merchant. Starling had broken his leg too I believe the way he twisted when he went down. Starling was then interviewed by Merchant in another fight, and you can hear Starling say, "Yeah, you got me like that the last time or something to that effect"...lol.
