Hagler didn't care. Neither did Floyd's favorite fighter Pryor. Hagler just wanted to beat the crap out of Hearns. And Hearns all of a sudden became a puncher when he went pro. Hagler didn't claim that Hearns took roids to become a puncher after going pro.

Only a ***** would need OSDT for an opponent they and everyone else around them believe they can whip.

Exactly. The aura of Hagler was that he treated training like "jail" He wouldn't have done what Ortiz did but on the flip side, he wouldn't have had the type of stuff going on and people around him like Floyd or any fighter for that matter. People talk of Floyd as the most conditioned boxer the've seen but I think Hagler was just as disciplined mentally and physically if not more than Floyd. You ever think you would've seen Hagler playing around with rappers talking to money? He was all business.

Doesn't matter. People are blowing this out of proportion. His camp knows what's best. He prolly needed rest.

Taking a day off or even day(s) off isn't all that uncommon when getting close to fight time, dip****. It's an actual tactic used to keep a fighter from peaking too early.

Don't you know that Ortiz went fishing to soak up the sunrays and water from the ocean?

Hagler wouldn't be cooking for another man, either. Plus, you wouldn't see Hagler at the piano smiling, swooning and swaying like a little ***** while being serenaded by another man.

Once a boxer enters training camp, they do not train every day up until the fight.
