Like i said on a similiar thread. Its not like he went partying at a night club. He went fishing!
    A perfectly healthy, relaxing activity.
Nearly all the hard work is done, and hes just relaxing.
If anything its a good thing, helps him stay fresh physically and mentally.

This is more of a Hagler tribute thread than an Ortiz bash thread, I honestly don't give a **** if he spends a day fishing, and yes... resting is good for your body.

But all in all this thread has delivered. :D

So does Pacquiao and add the fact that he's always been fast and awkward and if you ask me, Hearns was more of a threat to Hagler than Pacquiao is to Floyd and Hagler took it to him and got his and didn't need to negotiate about pay and drug testing. He just wanted to detstroy whoever was in front of him.

    Hagler a real OG

Issues with steroids wasn't as prominent as it is now. We're more educated on it now. Plus hearns also gained that power when he was a late teenager and early 20's.
Pac gained it when he was close to 30.

Plus Hearns was a 6'1 WW, so nobody was surpised that he was able to move up in weight comfortably

Steroids was more prevelant in the 80s as people like Carl Lewis and many other athlestes got away with it. I agree people weren't as educated then but you would've been crazy to think if Hearns was around today, Floyd WOULDN'T be concerned about his power and think he's on something. Hagler even if he existed today wouldn't be bitching about drug testing this and that to a guy that's moving up to him. And Pacquiao didn't become a puncher close to 30 neither. He was always a puncher. People forget he MOVED UP to Barrera and stopped him the same way he stopped DLH. He's ALWAYS had freaky power. I don't get this "he became special after 25" stuff. He was the first to stop Morales. Even Maidana could not stop a shot Morales.

Now Sergio Martinez is a different story. He clearly just became a puncher.

    Hagler a G.

    Floyd a F.A.G.

No Floyd wouldn't have an issue with Hearn's power since it was there most of his career. With Manny, he's had the power, but now he's hurting much bigger guys with it and is taking much bigger shots.
I think Manny is clean, but I'm just speaking on why people would be suspicious of Manny.

Thats messing with Ortiz's "calibration"...Even one day will hurt in terms of keeping your coordination etc goin.

This will be Ortiz's biggest mistake thus far.

Why dont you ask yourself if taking one day off will be enough to change the outcome of the fight?

Well, I guess he(Ortiz) just better not lose now.

Just might be another big joke people will be talking about. He was already labeled a quitter. Now, if he loses, especially if he tires(and he will), he will have that "surfer dude" image to bear.

    But "he don't care".

A lot of fighters over train for big fights. Maybe it will benefit him to take a day off and he thinks the same. I don't think he is taking Floyd lightly

No you're a homofag who dreams of being looked at as "real" growing up in Grand Rapids or some other soft town like Kalamazoo and can't hang with the big dogs. So you get on this board and try to sound all tough like you're somebody.
