I'd ask Lou Duva what the hell he was thinking when he told Meldrick Taylor in his corner that he had to win the 12th round against Chavez to win the fight.

Taylor fought that last round like he was down by 11 rounds and he desperately needed a KO to win. Did Duva think saying that would make Taylor stay focused? Did he not see what kind of shape he was in coming into the last round and see that he just needed to cruise to a victory? Taylor put up one of the greatest performances ever in that fight and if he didn't fight that last round so offensively he would have won the match.

Why would Calzaghe's opinion be so important?

Firstly because I know my own, and Kesslers opinion. Secondly - I admire Calzaghe as a boxer - thus I would value his estimate on that matter.
