Money aside if pac wanted this fight he would of signed, he doesnt want anything to do with hatton! why, who knows. If he is pound for pound he should fight him, the weight isnt an issue seen as he has made ww, so whats his reason for not fighting hatton? pac wont manage at ww, he has to settle at lw and there is only one man wurth fighting at lw! pac must be scared

It's not about not "wanting anything to do with Ricky" it's about PAC feeding his EGO. he wanted to call the shot down to his every last demand. PAC is thinking that he has that right given his Status as the undisputed P4P #1 fighter in the world. unfortunately it's not realistic how he feels about himself or his worth! he is the "MAN" in boxing no doubt but where he feels he has the right to play this kind of Business is beyond logic. he lost out on a lot of money #1 and played himself like a EGO Maniac to the world. PAC being scared isn't even an options for he's time and time again proven otherwise and Ricky doesn't present anything more or less than the other greats PAC has run throuhg.....it's his EGO.

I cant see how a true champ or a true fighter would let something like ego get in the way of there legacy!

Pacquiao's legacy is already signed and sealed with or without Hatton.

Hatton is the one letting money and ego get in the way of his legacy

I see your point but PAC is young....He knows his Legacy is secure with what he as already accomplished which is assisting with feeding his ego at this point. Plus there are still many other fights that would still add to his legacy which he is well aware of. This fight not happeneing is more a blow to the sport of boxing and its fans than either Hatton or PAC.

it lloks like hattons trying for pbf, if not it;'s the jmm v diaz winner

"But Gareth Williams, who heads Hatton's legal team, insists his client is looking elsewhere after promises of a signed contract being sent by fax never materialised.

Williams said: "I have asked Richard Schaefer, who acts for the American promoter Golden Boy, to make contact with Mayweather again to see if he is interested.

"If not, we will be looking at the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz for some time in June. It would also be easy to make as both are with Golden Boy Promotions.

"If it comes off, we could also look at that bout being in England too, as we initially wanted with Pacquiao. "

    that's a cold, hard fact.

    Hatton is barely HOF material.

What a chump, he would rather fight lightweights than the challengers in his own division. Bradley, Holt, Torres, and Witter are still in the 140 division.

It isn't even HoF material, he only beat one great fighter and Koysta was faded by then. After Koysta he fought nobodies and recieved a shady decision over Collazo and got KO'd by Floyd. Not to mention he still won't fight anyone in his own division who is worth a damn.

Idiot!! Hatton hasn't backed out. He's just run out of patience of being messed around by Pacman who is acting as if he's had a change of heart(or LACK of heart more to the point)
