THE reason why I can't stand Bob Arum is because the guy is completely selfish and self serving about EVERY move he makes. He takes that to ridiculous levels, and makes it painfully obvious. He treats his fighters like they're chess pieces on a board - and granted they are to a certain extent, and this is a business - but these are PEOPLE. People risking their health, people risking their lives. This isn't Hollywood, this is a blood sport. The human factor is of no interest to Arum. The fans, the fighters; we're just 'mules' and 'demographics' to him. He'll bleed everything he can get out of everyone to the fullest possible extent. Boxing fans and especially the fighters themselves deserve better, but I won't deny he's very slick and effective at what he does.

Still, he's a ****ing ****.

 

He doesn't release PPV numbers when it's below than what he claimed earlier...

I disagree on that. Arum is only slightly more clever and tactful about covering his dirty deeds. Same face, different mask.
