Apart from goodjohn vs boylon which was a fantastic fight I was really disappointed with the one sided beat down the house fights put on their opponents I'm not knocking the fighters hell Brunker was the ibf's top rated contender but it all seemed a bit to easy for the house fighters to me. What are your thoughts? Many thanks kind regards hide

wouldn't be too pleased if I'd spend 40quid + watching that. On paper both fights looked good tests for Selby and AJ respectively but were mismatches on the night. Did Johnny Coyle fight on the undercard (he won prize fighter bout 9 months ago) heard he was going to fight but nothing mentioned.

think Josh Warrington should look to fight Brunker as he didn't look great, but is highly ranked by a few bodies. Good test to see how close him and Selby are too.

Same shite in the UK nearly every bill now - one sided pish.

Then he puts 50/50 or 70/30 fights on PPV

Was very disappointing in that respect. Three of the four fights were duds. Boylan against Tyler was great tho.

Every card is the same **** except for the odd fight.

AJ is your typical shite - 10 fights against 10 cans = 10 wins

A max of 3-4 cans is more than enough

You can't criticise a card after the event if the fights haven't turned out as expected IMO.

We expected a close Selby fight and Joshua to have been posed more problems than he was. Turned out they are both better than we thought. So be it.

I wouldn't say AJ's opponent is a can, he had a decent record and hadn't been stopped before 5 rounds for ages I don't think. It looked on paper to be a decent opponent for a 9 fight novice to get some rounds in.

Ryder fight was originally set to be Khomitsky which would have been a good fight and a good test. As you said the Goodjohn and Boylan fight was very good and Selby was in a final eliminator against a highly ranked opponent, he boxed well to make him look average while Joshua is progressing nicely so overall I wouldn't complain too much about the matches that were made.

I think Warrington would be licking his lips and saying bring it on at the thought of a fight with selby asap tbh billy . I think Warringtons go forward style and workrate causes selby nightmares

I agree Stevie, Brunker was slow and flat footed, his footwork was poor, always in straight lines, so Selby could control him with ease. Warrington has extremely fast footwork, in far faster than Brunker and faster than Selby works non stop and bobs and weaves in at angles, style wise he would be a nightmare for Selby. Now could Selby beat higher rated opponents than Warrington right now, Yes he could imo but could he beat Warrington, as styles make fights ? I have my doubts

I have to disagree mate, Josh Warrington has greatly improved over the last year but Lee Selby is on another level skill wise!! The problem with Lee Selby is that he gets bored with his opponents at time and switches off. I bet when he steps up he will be more switched on and he will show how good he really is.

Was a **** mismatch card again from Matchroom on Sky. The usual. Just like last card odds were **** as fights weren't anywhere close to even. The casual twitter Matchroom fan seems to love it though so Hearn doesn't care.

We now know what quality to expect after Cleverly/Bellew2 was made PPV. Remember though Hearn moved the show from clashing with Chisora/Fury card "for the fans" hahaha ****ing jackanory!
