i think what most are saying is that shane is old, which is true, but still has a good chance of beatiing mayweather, which is also true. only very few are saying that shane has got no chance of winning.

Floyd and his team are masters of timing. Floyds biggest names of late were all clearly past their prime.

Hatton, De La Hoya, Judah, Mitchell, Gatti, JMM........plain to see.

I said from the very beginning that Shane Mosley is a lose-lose situation for Mayweather. I've been saying that since PBF came back, and I still believe it.

I think Floyd deserves props for taking the Mosley fight. In fairness, he didn't have much of a choice, but I give credit where credit is due. After Pac and Paul Williams, Mosley is the toughest fight available.

Mosley is a top dog at WW, but he is 38 and past his prime. Those are just the facts, you can't spin them. If/when Floyd wins it will be his first win against a true top WW, but that WW is past his prime.

He took one of the toughest fights available. After Williams, Mosley was the toughest big fight. It's not his fault that his only choice was a fighter who is 38 and past his prime.

Mosley has the potential to be tough for Mayweather. Unless it's the Mosley who showed up against Mayorga, then when PBF beats him easily, people will say it was because of Shane's age, blah, blah, blah...personally, I think the two toughest fights for Floyd were Williams and Pacquiao and then comesMosley. People forget how shitty Mosley looked before skull ****ing Margarito.

I agree, in terms of difficulty, it would be Williams, then Pac and then Mosley.
Pac fight broke down, and he won't fight Williams. So it was the second most difficult fight available after Pac.

I think Mayweather will win with relative ease. What I mean by the toughest fight available is the highest rated boxer available in his weight division (sorry should have clarified that). Style wise Mosley suits Mayweather down to the ground. People forget against Margarito, Mosley showed a poor defense and relied on his offence. He won't be able to land them blows on Floyd like he did on Margarito. Floyd will be able to pop quick jabs and even body shots on Mosley all night. I also think Mosley won't be able to throw the lightning quick punches in bunches like he did a few years back. I have no idea how Mosley is going to go about get a victory.
