... is that the referee only stops the fight when the guy is REALLY out. I'm sick of boxing's BS stoppages.
:huh I can't agree with you bro, if anything the fights are almost always stopped after just one solid punch or a knockdown in MMA.
I seen some BS stoppages in the UFC before, Tito/Shamrock comes to mind. I feel Boxing does an alright job regarding stopping fights, better than 90% of the fights that are stopped, were seconds away from being over anyway, why let someone take the unneeded punishment?
You get your own sorry head punched in to oblivion and then tell us again about boxing's BS stoppages. Moron.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever heardatsch MMA stoppages are twices ass weak as boxing stoppages.
Yeah, that guy fighting Kimbo was way more hurt than Castillo in the Corrales fight.......................................
you don't have to generalize:nono , i for one also witnessed moments where there are MMA fights getting stop early
wtf? Castillo in the first Corrales fight was KTFO on his feet and James Thompson was still able to throw punches back at Kimbo

watch brandon vera vs werdum. it was stopped waaaay too early. i have never seen a boxing fight stopped that way becasue vera was perfectly fine right after the stoppage was called
Another point to bring up is that sometimes refs see more than we can from home. Boxers typically take more of a prolonged beating than MMA guys and sometimes are so well trained (if you want to call it that) that they just will not fall down. A ref might see their eyes rolling around in their head, motor function problems, or other clear signs that they are not "with it" at all, which could lead to what looks like a bull**** stoppage, when really the ref might be saving the guy serious brain damage
