Um no. Straight punches are the ones he can make miss the easiest. When he's in that defensive stance, he is turned to his signed making his profille much slimmer - a smaller target. Which makes it inherently harder to hit him, and makes it easier for him to slip punches. This particularly applies to straight punches!

Also Floyd doesn't have to move very far to slip these punches because he also uses his shoulder to deflect these punches a bit and make them miss with less effort from him. And for punches coming fro the other side of his body, h can use his right love to do this.

Personally I think the way to deal with this is to CONCENTRATE on that lead shoulder. Throw straight power shots at it, make him not want to use it for defense. Maybe this won't work but I think its worth a shot.

OK...I'm a billion percent sure it was a left hand from Corley that staggered Floyd. He got hit in the temple area and staggered back a few steps.

My memory is not that shot....maybe around Evander Holyfield level... :rofl :rofl

I know I am right so I will not even watch the footage.

I am not trying to be a smart ass, but I just don't feel like watching anymore footage of Corley-Mayweather.

I've provided written evidence from a writer who was sitting ringside and also visual evidence(I even told you what part to skip to). I don't know what more you want.

I am a fairly new poster, and most of you guys seem like pretty cool guys. Like I said, I am not being a jerk or anything, but I have watched Floyd-Corley quite a few times, and it's not even a question which punch stunned Floyd. It was a left hand that Corley threw with an upward trajection that stunned PBF.

Your right, he's only open to be hit when he's in offensive mode. Notice in the Judah fight in the earlier rounds, he was being hit clean when he was in offensive mode. As someone stated, u have to have good speed to catch him cleanly.

I really don't care one way or the other, just trying to help you understand the way things work. By now you could just watch the video and we all move forward with this conversation, whatever it was about.

U might be right, I haven't watched that fight in a while. That was pretty much another fight Mayweather stayed on offense alot. He didn't respect CHop Chop power either.

Sometimes people create their own reality and they won't except reality because it doesn't coincide with what they want to believe. You trying to reason and provide proof of what you are saying is like trying to talk astrophysics to a drunk hobo, no matter how clear and logical your proof/explanations are they just won't get it.
