One thing I'll say about Danny

    Love him or loathe him, and I certainly lean towards the latter (not loathe but he's definitely not one of my favourites). Dude puts on great fights, who can forget the classic with Matthysse, the Khan fight.. Thurman fight was pretty good also (yeah Thurman ran for a bit and made a few stinker rounds but that's on Thurman)...

    Not a fan of the fighter but definitely a fan of the fights that he creates. Dude's got a pretty exciting style, not the best boxer, not the best fighter/brawler but he's got a nice combination of both which somehow meshes with the opponents to make for some exciting moments.

    Why would you "loathe" him? What did Danny do specifically to make you dislike him? He's a chill down to earth kind of guy.

    As I said, don't loathe him but I do dislike him to some extent. It's from a few years back when he had some robberies and **** fights being made. Also his persona, IDK, seems kinda fake to me... You can agree to disagree with that but that's the way I see it.

    Not to mention his extremely obnoxious father, doesn't help.

    Want to see an obnoxious father. Look at Kenny Porter. Angel is actually funny. Kenny is literally the biggest condescending and pretentious ***** in boxing.

    At least Kenny is somewhat in his place and cultured to the slightest degree, Angel is completely no holds barred, constantly in your face, rude, talks **** about everyone excluding his God's gift to earth son. He's just trashy.

    The gig was funny for the first couple interviews, it got old really fast.

    Yeah. I simply never understood the hate for DSG on here. Hes a good fighter who always puts on a good show. He carries himself well and comports himself outside of the ring. HIs dad is kind of a jackass but im not going to judge DSG on what his father does. I thoroughly enjoyed the fight as im a fan of both fighters. Its funny that boxing is the one sport where i can be a fan of both opponents and enjoy the outcome if its a great fight that isnt ruined by any nonsense.

    Angel is just a fun loving guy. Kenny thinks his **** doesn't stink and he knows more than everyone.

    I love Angel lol. That fool makes me crack up. I'm actually more disappointed for Angel than Danny for this loss.

    Who knows as well, I may turn around on Danny, I used to dislike Froch as well but I switched stances on him by the end of his career.

    What did Danny do? I get it if you don't like Angel. Personally I find him funny af. I don't know though, I just had a lot of friends that had clown dads growing up, so I just have a soft spot for Angel type dads.

    He's got a good chin and I actually like his style. He's pretty smooth in the ring in my opinion. Unfortunately he's a little limited and doesn't have a b plan or maybe a second gear.
