Is to follow your head, rather than your heart when picking a winner. Your head is probably right most of the time.
That would take a lot of the fun out of watching a fight. You get behind your fighter regardless, it's what being a fan is all about. If you are speaking from a 'betting man' perspective, you are right.
If you have a preferred fighter you can always make a prediction with your head before the fight, and then hope with all your heart to be proven wrong.
I always does that :good.. I really hoped that Abraham could pull an upset agaisnt Ward.. But i knew that it would require a miracle...
Using your brain to make decisions is actually beneficial in other areas of life too mate. Should probably apply it to making threads. :think
Sometimes it's just tough to do so.... Whatever, this is a boxing forum i dont think we should discuss life philosophy here lol.. But i know what you mean mate :good..
hahahahaha! some good stuff here today. when picking fights, its also very important to listen to people that you respect and avoid people you dont. i found that the ignore function on the ESB forum works well. unbiased pro fighters and trainers opinions are excellent sources for the likely outcome of a fight. biased fighters can also be a good source. when you had lennox lewis hating to admit that wlad was going to win(he despises the klitchos), that was a pretty good sign to pull the trigger.
