Stevens had the wider back and he still lost:shock:

Your hatred of GGG has already "blined" you!

I don't make excuses for guys who take punches for a living. And won't ever give a flying **** what guys like you think about boxing.

I have to see GG beat a top fighter. What GG did tonight was box superbly against a guy who was at a disadvantage reach wise. Sure GG took some shots. This is boxing. Two arms can connect on one head. GG rolled a lot of the shots just as Floyd rolled Cotto's biggest shots. No fighter can go in and come out without being hit in a fight. Even Ali got hit with 1 hook by Cleveland Williams, lmao.

Good performance for GG. And guess what. My blackness didn't allow me to **** on GG for being white. #Blizzalwayskeepsitreal

He wasn't letting him hit him, but you could tell that GG didn't think that Stevens could hurt him. Duran was one of the best at not caring whether you had power or not. But on the flip side, there will be a guy who hits GG on the chin. Will GG react like Margarito did against Shane or Duran against Barkley.

    Only time will tell.

Arm length means more than wingspan bro. Stevens' arms are a bit longer than Golovkins.

And GGG is mixed race. I always bring that **** up but it's because I can't help but see double standards going on.

Blizzy giving credit to Golovkin. :good: respect for giving credit fighters they surely have earned. I am starting to believe Golovkin might be the next undisputed middleweight champ. If they only let unify the titles.

    Good post.

I too am not 'sold' on G as of yet, in terms of being an ATG.

I want to see him in with someone who he cant bully and overpower, or someone with a high high skillset and talent, and see how he copes in those situations.

All too often, 'wrecking machines' become ordinary/basic guys to beat once they are no longer the stronger/more powerful man.

But regardless of how good he is or isn't, I like him as a fighter, his fights are badass, and I hope he gets the big fights at middleweight (Martinez, Murray, Chavez)

I want to find out if GG truly has a chin and if he is a "plan B" fighter, that's all.

Also, giving body shots out is one thing, taking them in a grueling fight, and coming back with your own is another. In my and a lot of people's opinion Sweetpea beat Chavez by going to Chavez's body.

Stevens was a light heavyweight! Golovkin easily beat him, but that's because of his excellent timing and the 350 fights he had as an amateur!!! Golovkin stays in shape also!!!

Curtis has longer arms. 182 cm

And actually mexican Reyes gloves is most dangerous in boxing. I was feared when he caught GGG.
