Stevens hit him. Maybe not right picture perfect right on the tip of his chin, but G has been hit plenty with shots.

If he had a dodgy chin, it would be known about by now.

There is no reason for me to think he has anything less then a very good chin. Even in sparring you hear how he lets people tee off on his head, stupidly.

No fighter is unrockable if hit with the right shots, but for practical purposes, G has shown enough chin for me. If he showed any more it would be a quality of a lesser fighter (for getting hit more)

Elite fighters dont usually get hit enough in their prime to show just how much they can really take, imo.

I've seen GG hit and even wobbled just a bit. To me that's a so what. Can he take it over and over at times is what a true champion is able to over come.

We have yet to see if he could. I don't say stuff like I don't think he can basing that on past fights. You can go down in fights. It' getting up and fighting on is what champs do.

Paul Williams could until he crash landed. GG's defense was superb in this fight though. And he was throwing bombs tonight. He let Stevens know early like a true champ that I ain't to be ****ed with.

The reflection is where he passes his test with me win or lose.

Heh. No. Stevens just was very fast for thinkful fighter as Golovkin usually is. Thats why he allowed him to reach him even in very close distantion just to make Curtis open little bit. Otherwise it was almost impossible to go through Stevens defence and counterpunching

Let's keep in mind that stevens had the shorter arms and was the smaller man. He also has good speed, these things good make GGG look bad on the inside. I thought he did a pretty good job, but I think he was slightly uncomfortable at the begining with Stevens speed.

Golovkin can really take a punch, but he rolls with the punches which helps a lot. Golovkin felt Stevens out and he knew that Stevens could not hurt. Timing and distance Golovkin has!!!

Elite fighters have been ko'd early in their careers and turned into Hall Of Famer's.

Paul Williams had a good chin, just had its breaking point in the first Martinez fight imo, when he took way too many hard shots from a powerful powerful sharp puncher. I think their first fight ruined his chin.

anyways though, we will see how G withstands a true barrage on his chin. But like I said, you dont see too many elite fighters have to take that test very often, and they have to have an opponent good enough to do it. G might not have that quite yet at middleweight but we will see.

If anything he showed more respect to his opponent early in this fight then past fights

Abel said hit the arms. GG went out and hit Stevens guard. Whether he connected or not, he was throwing bombs and he was digging in. GG was throwing bombs!

GG wanted to send Steven's a message that I'm better than you and he said it after the fight too, and I lol'd. Maybe he took that coffin **** serious, lmao.

Stevens did his best. I hope you have respect for him.

This was an example of a trainer knowing that things could only get worse and he stopped the fight. Goos stoppage.

I'm a big ggg fan but I never thought a guy that got beat by Jessie Brinkley (at 168 ) was anything special with that being said I think ggg beats everyone from 154-168 with the exception of ward which I think is A 50:50 fight

The REALITY is GG dismantled Stevens in the manner that you saw it happen. And he didn't do it in a matter that you just stated. You see, he's the boxer and you're the fan. GG showed smarts tonight. Maybe you only saw the power, maybe not.

Stevens tried his best. He lasted up until his trainer stopped the fight. Don't discredit that man. I could lose respect for you real fast. Like the fighters, leave the trash talk in the gutter. Pre fight talk is fun. I never trashed Matthysses performance when he lost to Garcia. I ain't that type of fan. All fighters deserve respect. You'll know the chumps when you see one.

Hmmmmm interesting :think because Even ggg and his trainer said the plan was to start slower then past fights and max kellerman and roy jones also said they noticed it
