One thing that is likeable about Mosley... he really DOES chase the KO

There's plenty of fighters who say they always go for the knockout (like Toney), but then go on to fight a defensive fight. Mosley, love or hate him, always chases that knockout victory. He could've settled for a points win yesterday or against Mayorga, but scored that sweet knockout.

out of his 46 wins, he has 39 KO's.....that is brutally high for a guy who is considered not to be a big puncher. I always felt that SSM had great power that was underatted.

Yeah. He's a dude that if he gets you in trouble, he will take advantage of it.

His finishing instincts are first class. Up with the best. The way he was hammering home haymaker rights at the end of the 8th was ****ing brutal.

Yeah you could see the way he was putting everything into those crosses. Breaking the cardinal rule of letting your back foot up off the floor, but **** they looked brutal!

I love fighters that chase the KO too, and as great as I thought his performance was against Tony, I am still disapointed with his effort in the dying stages against Cotto. He would have knowingly been aware of the fact the fight was close in the last couple of rounds and was really expecting the last couple of rounds to be real war. Instead he chose to be WAY too passive and just patiently box from the outside in the 12th with the knowledge that he really needed that round (or a KO) to win the fight. And I don't think he gased out or anything, I think he was just content to last the distance and box that last round against Cotto.
