ALL things aside. the name calling the cursing out or jones and joe bashing wether you like joe, hate jones or vice versa. or you think jones was shot, joe was past his prime or what ever the case may be. ONE THING WE CAN ALL agree on is last night was a good night for boxing and it was a very entertaining fight. both were in good shape and both showed heart . and fought with style. it was an on your edge of the seat yoe fight not like a castillo -corrales fight but on an entertainment bases. every body that came over my house were glad to come over. we even watched the fight a 2nd time. it was a good fight and im sure everybody can agree on that .
I agree, I've watched it 3 times, first time hammered last night, second time repeat today and third time on youtube to hear the HBO commentary. I know people will argue these kind of match ups are not good for boxing, but it was good for the fans.
First few rounds were competitive then it was a total joke of a fight - one old washed up old man acting like a human punch bag. It was embarrassing for boxing.
Err no check out whos bet on haye, and you will find a 4700 stake from me made today. I have far less confidence in that bet then I did on Calzaghe though.
