yeh you see plenty of guys rocked or dropped in the early rounds then go on to take the shots just fine, you gotta settle in and get your feet under you, iv never experienced it myself but have seen it displayed countless times

Chin is steel lol? Is that why Ward was wobbled several times by a mere jab? And was tasting the canvas in the 2nd round? Lol...Chin of steel for sure.

 

The knockdown was not the worry, he was just beaten to the punch and seemed fine when he got up. It's the jab he was almost floored by in the 1st round that was shocking really.

Ward Just went up in weight and took on one of the biggest punching LHs in history and beat him .got off the deck bit down on his gum shield And got the job done.That's what champions do.

Yup. Ward's chin is questionable to say the least. If he faces Stevenson, Golovkin or Kovalev again that mandible is in SERIOUS danger of getting shattered.
