One thing Wilder and Ortiz have in common

So Wilder never put on a pair of gloves until his daughter was diagnosed with spina bifida ??? Really

 

Yeah he started boxing in October 2005 about 7 months after his daughter was born. He was a trucker driver for Budweiser for much of his early career because of the medical cover than came with that job.

 

So he never trained boxing as well while truck driving ? Never knew this. Credit to him man !

 

that explains the windmilling at least.

 

I remember the old Wilder who crushed cans but was honest that he was in it for the money (which he needed for his family).

The new Wilder who cruches can and talk about legacy is just unbearable.

 

And I was going to say "overrated".

 

So basically he went from transporting cans to crushing them.

 

Not really he started boxing 2 years before Joshua did and we don't see Joshua windmilling.

 

Wilder definatley is not a natural boxer. Some have it some don't, just like some have a punch while others don't.

I believe Joshua's father liked to fight, its always an advantage having others who have boxed or have some type of competitive nature who you are related too.
