While in prison, ike completely changed his ways. He not only stayed in perfect condition, he also smoothed and shined out his mind. He actually earned a few degrees while in prison.

So think again when you question his state of mind or intent. Ike is ready and the chins at HW are for the taking.

This isn't a Shannon Briggs or a Rid****e Bowe type comeback. This is a George Foreman comeback. This is a Hopkins like 42.

Ike will regain a HW Title. I have 0/doubt and it will be before 2018

By "regain" you mean he can take his WBC international HW title back that he won of Tua? :think

It would be absolutely insane if the President totally wrecked Ruiz Jr.

It would be one of the finest comeback performances in boxing history IMO and it would make him a legit top 20 HW in my eyes.

Ruiz Jr is garbage though. Tor Hamer was cracking his face before he quit.

Still a good comeback though given his time out granted.

i can easily see a road for ike to the title. the landscape is getting better than it was but ike can still be a factor. a few favorable matchups for him

Well that's not true. There was a photo of him from 2012 (or 13) where looked 300 lbs, fat out of his mind. He may be in decent shape right now, but it's nowhere near the level he was before incarceration.

Nevertheless - I'm still rooting for Ike, I just hope that those mental issues are gone for good.

Be honest, that doesnt look like a 42 year old. He's still in his prime. All the extra is just winter weight he will get rid of with one set of pullups

Another thing you need to know about Ike. It doesn't matter how tough you are, if 10 to 15 men in the shower decided they wanted to hold him down and **** him, there was nothing he could do but grin and bear it.
