    So you're implying Clottey was the better fighter? Pac took care of him 6 months later winning all 12 rounds. Your excuse? Cotto already damaged Clottey. :yep

    Shane won't be a different fighter. He is facing a smaller fighter with a style that favors his style. He feels his chances are better than with Floyd. That doesn't make him any better of a fighter.

    1. Shane complained of the excessive blood testing against Floyd. He said it was draining, and left him weak. Not hard to understand really, if you shed a whole lotta blood, and are averse to bloodletting.

    1) When did Shane complain about the physical effects of the testing? He complained of the inconvenience, I know. I don't recall excuses about being "weak" and such. In fact, in the 24/7 he was approached a few days before the weigh in to provide a URINE sample, and he said he would've preferred to have given BLOOD...due to the need to keep his weight under control.

    2) Well then we will have two Supermen in the ring...because, people assume they are both juicing.

    1. He complained about it in one of those interviews before the fight. He also said that they were taking too much blood, much more than he expected.

    2. Shane was proven to have roided, Pac wasn't.

    However, the suggestion that today's Shane is better than the one that fought Floyd is presumptuous at best and biased at worst. Also, thread starter stop bumping your own thread.

    I think the ts discredits shane by suggesting he is only good if he takes roids.

    This is how weak the division is now, a guy who hasn't won for two years is regarded by everyone (myself included) as a top 5 opponent.

    As for comparisons with floyd, redundant. Inactive fighter coming off a superb victory or an active fighter coming off two bad performances. Good and bad to both.

    But mosley was ranked higher when floyd faced him so that swings it for me.

    I just hope he fights jmm at 135, that would be jaw dropping. If not then 147 providing jmm has an interim bout at that weight.

    Regardless of outcome, this Shane is better because 1. he was not subjected to Floyd's tests, 2. pics show him in better shape.
