I think this fight could be a lot more interesting that some think. Shane will be much better served having a guy in front of him who trades and doesn't tie up. The Mora fight was awful, all Mora fights are. He got outclassed by Floyd and there is no shame in that, but this fight is more his style because Manny fights, that's what Shane needs in front of him to have a chance, and I certainly think he has one tonight, and they both look to be in terrific shape, ped's or not, I really don't care, I assume all athletes dabble in the juice, to me that's a safer assumption than assuming they all don't.

 

How the he'll do you know that? The fight hasn't happened yet. Didn't know there were precogs on this site.

 

A Mosley who is a allowed to juice is a dangerous fighter...look for the best version of Mosley for this fight.

FFS, readin' this thread has made me realize that should Mosley have ANY successes tonight, steroid accusations are gonna ****in' fly.

 

I would say a better point is the fact that Mosley is not coming off of a 16 month lay off.

Granted it was a good while back, but I have a theory about aging fighters "blowing hot and cold" in their later years (when they are as good as Shane, especially). Sure Shane had 2 **** fights, but that doesn't mean he won't pull out some of that ol' time ass whoopin' like B Hop does sometimes.:yep

And he don't need no damn Ped to do it either. (It's gonna hurt my feelins' I think, to see Shane just gettin' blistered.)

 

Shane was an absolute beast at 135. Defended the IBF title with a string of stoppages. If I remember correctly jones was p4p #1 at the time. Not sure though, that was like 12-13 years ago. So its been awhile.

 

Considering his last two performances contrasted against the Margarito performance on the heels of drug testing? You have to understand why.

He pounded Margo out with brutal efficiency. He then has nothing after two rounds with Mayweather. Stamina fails him again and he is ineffective offensively for Mora who goes on to be beaten by a (skilled) Journeyman. Granted both fights were against "slick" guys, but it was the stamina that led to the losses not his skills.

Nobody WANTS this to be a factor but wow. Not really a way you can't see it as one if a different Mosley shows up against arguably the best p4p fighter today.
